Your human craves routine. As much as you enjoy being in new, exciting locations, you crave structure in your days. Structure allows you to feel safe. This structure should change to accommodate the seasons. And you must not be tied to structure in a way that prevents you from following your heart’s calling.
But structure provides a sense of satisfaction and lists provide a sense of completion. It’s hard to be proud of yourself when you can’t quantify what you’ve achieved.
Make a short journal entry at the end of each day to celebrate your accomplishments. Recognize your own achievements and congratulate yourself for a job well done.
Make human connections a part o your daily “to-do”s”. Get to gather with friends. Reach out to family members. Make an effort to connect and celebrate their accomplishments as well. This will help provide context and meaning to both your days and theirs.
